Our technology allows millions of users to enjoy their favorite shows with unmatched speed, clarity, and flexibility across all devices.

Joining Exaring AG means becoming part of a team leading digital transformation in the media industry. We’re looking for innovators, creators, and problem-solvers who are passionate about reshaping how people experience television.

Brief profile

You set the pace for our most important engineering initiatives. As the central interface between tech and business, you ensure that projects go live on time, on budget and of the desired quality. As a Technical Program Manager, you oversee complex roadmaps and moderate collaboration between engineering, product and other specialist departments. You identify and eliminate dependency blockers and use agile processes and Atlassian tooling as a lever for transparency and continuous improvement.

Your areas of responsibility

1 — Program Delivery

  • Define goals, milestones, critical paths and success criteria together with leads

  • Track progress with robust KPIs (lead time, release burndown, quality), identify risks early and initiate mitigation plans and be responsible for management communication.

  • Escalate blockers and conflicts objectively, including resource and budget reconciliation.

2 — Technical & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Understand the essential components at the architecture level to be able to realistically assess dependencies (no architectural sovereignty, but a competent sparring partner).

  • Coordinate interfaces between several engineering teams, product owners, design, content, marketing, ops & finance.

  • Moderate sync meetings (Eng ⇄ PO), ensure clear action items and valid status updates for stakeholders and be a “bridge builder” between tech and business teams.

3 — Process Enablement & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure that the agreed development process (Scrum/Kanban) is adhered to and improved where it slows down delivery.

  • Standardise and optimise Jira workflows; set up dashboards for transparency at the team and C-level, and establish relevant performance metrics

  • Promote the Definition of Ready/Done, self-organisation and an active and constructive feedback culture.

What you bring to the table

  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Delivery Manager or similar role in a software environment.

  • Practice in end-to-end program management (scope, time, budget, risk).

  • Jira power user/admin (workflows, automations, dashboards).

  • Experience in coordinating distributed teams.

  • Excellent communication, moderation and stakeholder management skills in German & English.

Nice to have: Experience with value stream mapping, OKR facilitation, Confluence governance.
